Barton Halon Bryant, born on 18 November 1962 in Gatesville, Texas, US, was an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions.
His Alma Mata was New Mexico State University, while there he was a two-time All-American as a member of the school’s golf team.
Bryant turned professional in 1986, but had to wait until his 187th start in 2004 to win his first PGA Tour at the Valero Texas Open.
He has had 9 professional wins and reached his highest career ranking in 2005 at world number 22.
His first Champions Tour win came in 2013 at the Dick’s Sporting Goods Open.
Bart has an older brother called Brad, who also plays golf and has won both the PGA Tour and Champions Tours.
Bryant was married for 34 years until his wife passed away in 2017 of brain cancer.
He died on 31 May 2022 in Polk City, Florida.
