Beatriz Haddad Maia is a professional tennis player who hails from Brazil. She was born in Sao Paulo on May 30, 1996. Haddad made her professional debut in 2014 becoming Brazil’s second-ranked female tennis player in December of the same year.
She attained her career-high position of No. 16 in the WTA singles rankings on August 15, 2022. Haddad Maia has won two singles championships, four doubles titles, one singles title, one doubles title, and seventeen singles titles on the ITF Circuit.
She also has one singles title and one doubles title on both the WTA Tour and the WTA Challenger Tour. Haddad Maia is a member of the Brazil Fed Cup squad and has a 22-10 win-loss record.
At the 2013 Brasil Tennis Cup in Florianópolis, she participated as a wildcard and made her WTA Tour debut. She won her first WTA Tour match in the main draw.
