Benjamin Tetteh Scores First Championship Goal As Hull City Beat West Brom

Ghanaian Benjamin Tetteh scored his first Championship goal for his side Hull City when they defeated West Bromwich Albion 2-0 on Friday.

Hull City has moved to the 13th position with 45 points from the sixteenth position with the win at the MKM Stadium.

The goal means Tetteh now has a goal and three assists in 14 matches played for Hull City.
With an assist from Regan Slater, Tetteh opened the scoring for his side in the 33rd minute.

In the 63rd minute, Dara O’Shea scored an own goal to double the advantage for Hull.

Although the visitors had a greater part of the possession, they failed to course damage to their hosts who managed the game to their advantage and ensured they went away with all three points.

The loss is the four consecutive losses West Brom has suffered which affects their chances of gaining promotion.

Hull City, on the hand, have recorded their sixth straight home game without a loss in the season and the first time they have beaten their opponent since November 2018.
