Beyoncé Announces First Album In Six Years To Be Released Next Month
Beyoncé, an American singer, songwriter, and actress, has announced the release of Renaissance, her first solo album in six years, which will be released on July 29.
The yet-to-be-released album is rumored to be a follow-up to her 2016 album Lemonade, which focused on her husband’s marital infidelity and topped several end-of-year lists.
After the singer removed her profile photographs from all of her social media platforms last week, people speculated that she was working on a new single or album. Beyoncé is coming to quench their thirst with the words “act I RENAISSANCE” in a new update.
Many streaming platforms, like Spotify and Apple Music, have unveiled artworks for the new album shortly following her post, allowing fans to pre-order the record when it is released. Last year, Beyoncé told Harper’s Bazaar that she was already working on something for her fans in the studio.
“With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again. I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible. I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half.”
