Big Mouth star, Jak Knight’s death has been ruled as a suicide after an investigation by authorities.
The comedian, who also co-created and acted in the comic series Bust Down on the Peacock network, passed away last week at the age of 28.
His passing was confirmed by his family, and celebrities including Kumail Nanjiani of Eternals, Andrew Goldberg, who co-created Big Mouth, and rapper Chance the Rapper paid respect to the writer and actor.
His death was determined to be a suicide following an autopsy by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner, People reported after obtaining the coroner’s report. According to reports, the deceased stand-up comedian was discovered on a Los Angeles, California, slope.
Knight participated in American Dad! last year in addition to his role as the voice of Big Mouth in the animated series from 2017 through 2021. In the film Bust Down, he acted as a stockroom worker named Jak while simultaneously serving as the production’s executive producer.
