Billie Piper earned herself a trip to the hospital after suffering an injury while on the set of “I Hate Suzie series 2”.
The 39-year-old actress reportedly broke her back while filming a sequel to the first season of the dark Sky comedy, which stars the Doctor Who actor as Suzie Pickles.
A TV insider revealed that the actress hurt herself while trying to master some challenging moves for her character in a Strictly Come Dancing-inspired show dubbed Dance Crazee.
“It was a case of life imitating art as she found out just how challenging taking part in a contest like this can be. Billie hurt herself quite badly trying to master some challenging moves and it was decided it would be best if she went to the hospital to get checked out properly,” the insider revealed to The Sun.
Sources confirmed that the injury would have no impact on the release which is set for later this year as the production had already been completed before the injury.
