The Black Galaxies of Ghana have resumed their preparations for the quarter-finals of the 2022 CAF Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament.
The local Black Stars as the team is known in the country due to its composition of players who ply their trade in the local league have qualified for the knockout round of the competition after gaining six points from two matches although they lost their opening match.
Ghana lost its opening match of the ongoing CHAN tournament to debutants Madagascar by a 2-1 scoreline.
The team however put up a spirited performance, coming from behind to beat Sudan 3-1 in their second and final group match last Thursday.
In preparation for the quarter-final stage of the tournament, the Black Galaxies held their maiden full training session on Monday morning.
The Stade Mohammed Hamlaoui Annex in Constantine was the venue for the training session which included captain Gladson Awako who has been missing due to injury.
