Black Stars Players To Join Training Camp In Qatar Next Week Ahead Of 2021 AFCON

The Black Stars will open camp next week in Qatar, with all players invited to fly out from their clubs to join the team’s training camp, according to information gathered by Kingaziz.com.

All the players invited to the tournament have received their invitations and will be joining the team’s training camp.

Three weeks of Black Stars camping in Qatar will be required before they depart for Cameroon.

The team will spend three weeks in Doha, Qatar, to prepare for the Tournament for Cameroon scheduled for January 9th January to 6th February 2022.

Three international friendly matches will be played in Qatar by the Black Stars to allow Coach Milovan Rajevac to evaluate his team for the Tournament.

Ghana will play an unnamed club team on Tuesday, December 28, before facing one of the qualified Africa Cup of Nations teams on Saturday, January 1, 2022, in a friendly.

The team will conclude their match against African Champions Algeria on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.

Ghana is part of Group C along with Gabon, Comoros, and Morocco

In Yaounde, the Black Stars will take on Morocco, a North African side in group C.

Milovan Rajevac, Black Stars coach, is expected to announce the provisional team for the AFCON tournament within the next few days.
