Black Stars Pre-AFCON Friendly Game Today In Qatar Cancelled Due To Insufficient Players

The Black Stars of Ghana pre-afcon friendly match on today, Tuesday, December 28, 2021, in Qatar has been cancelled due to insufficient players.

This was revealed by the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum.

Only nine players have reported so far in camp due to the extension of reporting date to from December 27 to January 3.

Because of that, the game which was scheduled to play on Tuesday in Qatar has been cancelled.

Per the current situation, it is unlikely the friendly game will come on tomorrow,” Henry Asante Twum told Asempa FM’s SportsNite show on Monday.

Players who have reported in camp so far includes, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Richard Attah, Daniel Kofi Kyereh, Alexander Djiku, Gideon Mensah, Fatawu Issahaku, David Abagna Sandam, Maxwell Quaye, and Mubarak Wakaso.
