Milovan Rajevac, Ghana coach, will announce his provisional roster for next years’ Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon on Tuesday, December 14, 2021.
Expect more than 23 players to be named by the Serbian, who are expected to begin training in Doha on December 22.
Ghana FA announced Friday the team’s itinerary. The team will spend 15 days in the Gulf country to prepare for the tournament.
Rajavac will then reduce the squad to 23 by December 2021 in preparation for the tournament.
The team’s tactician has been given the task of winning the competition in Cameroon.
He participated in three qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup against South Africa, Ethiopia, and Zimbabwe and was able to qualify the team to the play-offs.
Rajevac’s meritocracy policies could result in some home-based players being included in his quad from the Ghana Premier League.
