William “Bo” Hopkins was an American actor who was perhaps best known for playing important supporting roles in a number of major studio films between 1969 and 1979, and appeared in many other television shows and TV movies.
Hopkins appeared in more than 100 film and television roles in a career of more than 40 years, including the major studio films The Wild Bunch in the year 1969, The Bridge at Remagen in the year 1969, The Getaway in the year 1972, and American Graffiti in the year 1973.
Not only that, but Hopkins film and television roles includes, The Man Who Loved Cat Dancing in the year 973, The Killer Elite in the year 1975, Posse in the year 1975, A Small Town in Texas in the year 1976, Midnight Express in the year 1978, and More American Graffiti in the year 1979.
After Hopkins’ first roles in major films in the early 1970s, he appeared in White Lightning in the year1973.
Hopkins played Roy Boone. Jerry Reed and Hopkins played brothers Joe Hawkins and Tom Hawkins in the 1985 film What Comes Around.
Bo Hopkins Children: Jane Hopkins, Matthew Hopkins
Hopkins had two children from two marriages; Jane Hopkins and Matthew Hopkins.
His first wife Norma Hopkins is the mother of his daughter, Jane Hopkins.
Bo and Norma marriage lasted for only three years. The couple got married in the year 1959 and divorced in 1962.
His second and current wife untill his death, Sian Eleanor Green, is also the mother of his son, Matthew Hopkins.
Sian and Bo got married in the year 1989, and they were still together as husband and will untill his death.
Born on February 2, 1942, in Greenville, South Carolina, United States, Hopkins died on the Saturday morning of May 28, 2022, at the age of 80, at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, California, United States.
