BREAKING: Medikal Arrested For Brandishing Gun On Social Media (Video)
Ghanaian singer Samuel Adu Frimpong aka Medikal has been arrested by the Ghana police for holding an assault weapon in a post posted on social media.
Medikal and his wife Fella Makafui were at the Accra Regional Police Command charge office.
He was taken to the police station by officers and is now being held by the police.
The lawyer representing Shatta Wale, Jerry Avenogbor, was seen at the command of the police, but it’s not known whether he will be representing Medikal in this matter.
The news comes just a few hours after dancehall artist Shatta Wale, as well as three others, were detained in police custody after an alleged shooting which turned out to be an elaborate fake.
They were ordered to be remanded by the Accra Circuit Court on the 21st of October 2021. It was their first court appearance.
Medikal was present at the courthouse to provide assistance for Shatta Wale.
Shatta Wale was arrested by police after he spread false information about an attempted assassination at his home in Accra on the 19th of October 2021.
