Akuapem Poloo is set to return to prison to continue the remaining days she didn’t serve in prison.
The actress was sentenced to prison for 90 days by the Accra Circuit Court on Friday, 16 April 2021. The actress was later granted a bail of GHc80,000 and two sureties following the fact that her lawyer appealed over the sentence.
The High Court, after granting her decision on her appeal, said that as she didn’t complete all of her time in Nsawam prison, she must return and begin serving it right away.
An Angel FM reporter, Ama Brako with Kofi Adomah Nwanwnani, reported that the actress was to spend the 90-day prison sentence. She however served only 8 days in court.
Akuapem Poloo to return to Prison on February 21, 2022.
Ama Brako also reported that her lawyer had pleaded with the court that the actress son would be unable to live as she is his only one who can provide for him.
