On Wednesday, December 15, the Court of Appeal revoked actress and model Rosemond Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo sentence, according to reports filed by 3News.
On the three charges, she was fined 1000, 500, and 500 penalty units. These are expected to be concurrently.
An earlier appeal by her lawyers had been rejected by the Court.
Accra Circuit Court sentenced her to a 90-day prison term for posting obscene material, violating the dignity of her son, seven years old, in a nude image on social media in June 2020.
Although she did serve a time during her sentence, her lawyers appealed to the judge because they considered it too harsh.
She was subsequently granted GHC/80,000 bail pending the determination of the appeal
The Court ruled that her appeal was without merit on Wednesday, December 1 and gave her a continual 90-day sentence.
