BREAKING NEWS: Ethiopia Will Host Ghana In Next Month’s World Cup Qualifier At Orlando Stadium In Johannesburg

Ethiopia will host the Black Stars of Ghana in the 2022 World Cup qualifying match next month at the Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg.

The Ethiopia Football Federation and the South Africa Football Association reached an agreement on Thursday to host the Walia Ibex.

Ethiopia was supposed to play Ghana in Ethiopia at the Bahir Dar Stadium for the matchday 5 game in November. However, the stadium has been shut down.

The Black Stars currently sit at the 2nd position on the group G standings and are just one point off of the leaders South Africa.

Ghana needs to win the next two matches in the coming two games against Ethiopia as well as South Africa to ensure they get a spot in the play-offs scheduled for the month of March next year.

The Black Stars will now take on Ethiopia in Johannesburg in the final round, before hosting the Bafana Bafana in a couple of days at the Cape Coast sports stadium in Ghana.
