Britney Spears’ Ex-Husband Jason Alexander Released From Jail After Appearing In Court For Bracelet Theft

Jason Alexander, Britney Spears’ ex-husband has been released from jail after appearing in court for an alleged bracelet theft.

Jason Alexander was released from a Napa County jail after appearing in court to answer to felony charges stemming from an alleged theft of jewelry in 2015. This comes after he was taken into custody after serving a term for attempting to crash the wedding ceremony of Britney Spears for stealing a piece of jewelry from his landlady valued at $2,000 (£1,650).

On Wednesday, he appeared via video link in California’s Napa County Superior Court where he was accused of “grand theft and buying/selling stolen property.”

He confirmed the crime when questioned, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by DailyMail.com, and his identity is listed in the pawn shop’s records.

In February 2016, the 55-year-old victim reported him to police after he claimed he was unable to obtain the bracelet back and had offered to replace it with another one.
