Bryson James Aldrich DeChambeau was born on 16 September 1993 in Modesto, California. He is an American professional golfer.
DeChambeau has eight PGA Tour titles, including a major championship, the 2020 U.S. Open.
He became the fifth player in history to win both the NCAA Division I championship and the U.S. Amateur in the same year, he did this as an amateur.
After Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods, he became the third player in history to win three champions with his U.S. Open victory.
He attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where he majored in physics.
DeChambeau played golf with then U.S. President Donald Trump in December 2017.
Bryson was nicknamed “The Scientist” which is a testament to his analytical and scientific approach to his game.
He turned professional in 2016.
