Bryson James Aldrich DeChambeau was born on 16 September 1993 in Modesto, California. He is an American professional golfer.

DeChambeau has eight PGA Tour titles, including a major championship, the 2020 U.S. Open.

He became the fifth player in history to win both the NCAA Division I championship and the U.S. Amateur in the same year, he did this as an amateur.

After Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods, he became the third player in history to win three champions with his U.S. Open victory.

He attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where he majored in physics.

DeChambeau played golf with then U.S. President Donald Trump in December 2017.

Bryson was nicknamed “The Scientist” which is a testament to his analytical and scientific approach to his game.

Jon played in a few PGA Tour events between 1987 and 1991.

He was regarded as one of the top amateurs in California when growing up in the 1970s and 80s.

Jon played golf for the University of Arizona, where he attended from 1979 to 1982. He graduated with a degree in business.

He has had challenges with kidney and pancreas diseases, and diabetes, which resulted in one of his legs being amputated.

Jan DeChambeau

Jan DeChambeau is the mother of Bryson DeChambeau and his older brother, Garrett.

She worked with Serta, a mattress company, as a sales representative.
