Ghanaian rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur, Sarkodie has praised Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer, Burna Boy in a recent interview.
The two-time BET winner in a recent interview promoting his latest released album “JAMZ” stated that the Grammy winner has always been exceptional because he doesn’t follow trends, but he rather sets trends.
According to him, all of Burna’s biggest records are not records you can compare to any other record in the system to date.
Adding that one thing he loves about Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy is that he just does what he loves and it turns out to be a hit song, not like most records out there which are very predictable.
Michael Owusu Addo known professionally as Sarkodie in the interview said;
“I’m drawn to talent, Burna Boy has always been exceptional, Burna doesn’t follow trends, he sets trends! Till date all his biggest records are not records you can compare to any other record in the system. Most records are out there are very predictable… you listen and u can tell it’s going to be a hit song but Burna just does what he loves and it turns out to be a hit song and that’s one thing I love about Burna . He stays true himself and does what he loves and somehow we love it too…”
