Carol Vorderman’s career began in 1982, when she joined the Channel 4 game show Countdown. She has hosted the annual Pride of Britain Awards and has appeared on Better Homes, ITV’s The Pride of Britain Awards, Have I Got News for You, The Sunday Night Project, Lorraine, and ITV’s Loose Women, among other shows.
Carol Vorderman attended Blessed Edward Jones Catholic High School in nearby Rhyl, Flintshire. She later studied engineering at Cambridge’s Sidney Sussex College.
