CCTV footage of how AKA, late South African rapper, born Kiernan Jarryd Forbes has been released and since gone viral.
The rapper is said to have paid a courtesy visit to his former manager who now runs a restaurant. While sharing pleasantries with his buddies, a yet-to-be-identified assailant pulled up and shot the rapper at a very close interval before bolting away through heavy traffic.
Even though CCTV cameras in the area caught the entire incident, the face of the assailant was not captured due to his outfit. However, South African law enforcement are tirelessly working around the clock to put those behind the murder behind bars.
Before his demise, AKA revealed recently that he believes he deserves to sit as a judge on the South African talent show, Idols. After sharing his post on Twitter, one fan advised him to set up his own talent show to help elevate local talents to rise up.
