McMillan was among the most prominent bodybuilders of the 21st century, sporting a classic body that was reminiscent of the golden age of bodybuilding over the bigger bodies of the current era.
Cedric McMillan was an elite open division bodybuilder. He has eight Pro wins. He also placed in the top 5 in major competitions at various times.
McMillan received his Pro card in 2009, and ever since he has been in discussion with the top open bodybuilders around the globe.
The most notable win was the 2017 Arnold Classic Ohio where he met one of his idol, Arnold Schwarzenegger, earning praise from the former Mr. Olympia. His most recent event was the 2020 Arnold Classic Ohio, where he was placed 6th.

It was not until November of last year that it was discovered that the American professional bodybuilder had one time cheated death.
The story was revealed personally by Cedric McMillan, following his appearance as a guest in the NPC’s Armed Forces Championships.
The 44-year-old was reported to have the possibility of death in July 2021. The reason of which was believed to be related to heart issues.
Through this, he was admitted for three weeks at the hospital, but also lost 14 pounds of weight.

But, the incident did not stop the 2017 Arnold Classic Champion from preparing for the upcoming 2022 Arnold Classic in hindsight. Unfortunately, without success.
His return to The Legion Sports Fest was also unplanned. While Cedric McMillan was an official judge at the competition, but he was not a participant at the end of the competition.
It wasn’t until after that it became apparent that the American bodybuilder was suffering from stomach issues and had difficulties keeping food and water down.
“Ever since I tried to compete at the legion show in Nevada in October, I’ve had stomach problems. I can’t keep food down for some reason. I hiccup all day and half the night and whenever I eat anything or even drink water it comes back up. Nothing wants to stay down.”
Born on August 17, 1977, in Maplewood, New Jersey, United States, Cedric McMillan died of a heart attack while training on April 12, 2022, at the age of 44.
