2021 has been a fateful year for Ghanaian celebrities. It’s been one year that has seen more celebs arrested within it than any other year in history.
As many as a dozen celebrities have spent some time behind bars within this year.
Many actions which in the past would have been let go were prosecuted this year, partly due to the installation of a new IGP.
George Akuffo Dampare took over the job and has been far stricter on celebrities than his predecessors.
Whilst some celebs were arrested by the state, others were arrested due to having a ‘beef’ with another celebrity which got out of hand.
