Chet Thomas Holmgren is a professional basketball player with the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association. He was born on May 1, 2002.
He played collegiate basketball for the Gonzaga Bulldogs and was selected second overall in the 2022 NBA Draft. He is a two-way center and power forward who is a unanimous five-star recruit and the top player in the 2021 class. His officially recorded height lists him as seven feet tall.
Holmgren was part of the United States team at the 2021 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup in Latvia which won gold.
