Christine Marie Evert also known as Chris Evert Lloyd was born on 21 December 1954 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

She is an American former tennis player who was at a point in time a world number one; a ranking she held for 260 weeks.
Evert has 18 major singles titles under her belt; this includes seven French Open titles and six US Open titles.

Evert began taking tennis lessons from her father Jimmy Evert when she was five years old.

Evert currently owns and runs a tennis academy called Evert Tennis Academy in Boca Raton, Florida with her brother.

Colette and Jimmy married in 1952 and went on to have five children together.

James Andrew “Jimmy” Evert was born on 31 July 1923in Illinois, Chicago.
He was an American professional tennis coach and player.

Jimmy was a state champion at the high level in 1940. He studied Economics at the University of Notre Dame.

He coached tennis stars like Brian Gottfried, Harold Solomon, and Jennifer Capriati.
He died in 2015.
