Chris Jericho was born Christopher Keith Irvine on 9 November 1970 in Manhasset, New York.
He is an American-Canadian professional wrestler and singer.
Jericho is of Scottish and Ukrainian descent from his father and mother’s side respectively. He attended Red River College in Winnipeg where he earned a diploma in Creative Communications.
Jericho went to the Hart Brother School of Wrestling at the age of 19 where he was trained by Ed Langley and Brad Young.
He has gone on to perform for several wrestling organizations including Extreme Championship Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
He is currently working with All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
Jericho who is regarded by connoisseurs of wrestling as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time has used several ring names including, Corazón de León, León D’ Oro, and Super Liger.
Jericho is the lead singer for the heavy metal band Fozzy.
