Christian Atsu Is Alive Now – Turkish Football Agent Confirms

Black Stars midfielder Christian Atsu has been rescued from the rubble after a massive earthquake in Turkey, according to a Turkish agent, Muratt.

Hundreds of people have been reported dead and thousands injured in the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria on Monday morning.

Muratt who spoke to Peace said he represents Bernard Mensah and some other Ghanaian players and counts Christian Atsu as his friend confirmed that the player has been rescued alive.

He said that he has been in touch with Hatayspor and its Vice President since the incident happened and it has been confirmed that Atsu has been saved, rescued, and sent to the hospital, but it is not clear which hospital he is at at the moment.

Muratt also confirmed that he has sustained some injuries but the extent of the injuries is not known.

The Ghana international was trapped under debris after the earthquake and was located after extensive search efforts.
