Christian Atsu Is still Under Rubble – Hatayspor Vice President In latest interview

Mustapha Özat, the Vice President of Hatayspor has revealed that Ghana forward Christian Atsu contrary to some social media reports that say he has been found alive, still remains under the rubble.

The mercurial winger was stuck under rubble after a magnitude 7.8 earthquake hit Turkey, Syria, and some parts of Lebanon and Iraq on Monday morning leaving hundreds dead and thousands injured.

Christian Atsu and the club’s sporting director are reported to be unaccounted for since the earthquake struck.

Özat has confirmed the same at about 2:00 am Turkey time on Tuesday.

Hatayspor Vice President says that have heard from a Portuguese source that he has been found alive, but the club cannot reach him. He says no one can be reached and that the area is inaccessible at the moment.

He called for help because Hatay is the hardest place to reach of all the places affected by the earthquake.
