Coach Chris Hughton Aims To Win First Game As Ghana Coach To Earn The Support Of Ghanaians

New Black Stars head coach, Chris Hughton is determined to use the clash with Angola to win the full backing and trust of Ghanaians.

The experienced manager will be in the dugout for the first time as the Black Stars come face to face with their opponents from Angola as the two sides to earn the top spot in their group and also qualify for the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast.

The match will kick off later today, at 4 pm local time.

While addressing the media in a pre-game conference, Christian stressed the need for him to lead the team to a needed win on the day.

He stated that for him personally it will be a wonderful thing and of course hugely important to get the win but more importantly for the team. To win this game at home is hugely important.

The game between Ghana and Angola will kick off at 4 pm at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium later this evening.

The Black Stars will gain a three points advantage over their opponents with a win, as they are both currently on the same points in their group.
