Craig Michael Kimbrel was born on 28 May 1988 in Huntsville, Alabama.
He is an American professional baseball player. He plays as a pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers in Major League Baseball (MLB).
Kimbrel played baseball and football for his high school Lee High School in Huntsville, Alabama; he was a quarterback for the football team. He also played collegiate baseball for Wallace State Community College.
He was selected 96th overall in the third round by the Atlanta Braves in the 2008 Major League Baseball draft.
Kimbrel has played for the San Diego Padres, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, and Chicago White Sox and is an eight-time All-Star.
He has also won the World Series and is a two-time Reliever of the Year.
Kimbrel is married with a daughter and is a born-again Christian.
