The Republic Party’s representative for Texas’s 2nd congressional district is, Daniel Reed Crenshaw. Born on 14 March 1984 in Aberdeen, United Kingdom, the American politician is a former Navy Seal of the United Stated.
Crenshaw served in the war in Afghanistan on Seal Team 3 after he was commissioned. He reached the rank of lieutenant commander.
Upon completing High School in Bogota, Columbia, Crenshaw returned to America to study at the Tuft University where he obtained a degree in international relations, graduating in 2006.
He served in the military for 10 years before returning to study Public Administration in 2017 at John F. Kennedy School of Government in Harvard University.
In February 2020, Daniel Reed launched a podcast called Hold These Truths which he hosts. He is a Methodist.

Jim Crenshaw, who is Dan Crenshaw’s father, is a petroleum engineer. He worked mostly outside of the United States.
His mother, Susan Carol Crenshaw, died of cancer when Dan was only ten years.
