James Bond franchise star, Daniel Wroughton Craig was born on 2 March 1968 in Chester, Cheshire, England.
He became world-famous for playing the secret agent James Bond in the film series.
He attended Calday Grange Grammar School and play rugby union for Hoylake RFC.
Craig began acting at the age of six in school plays and took further interest in pursuing a professional acting career when he attended Liverpool’s Everyman Theatre with his mother.
He is widely known for his lead role in the James Bond franchise but his breakthrough came in 1992 when he played an Afrikaner in The Power of One.
He has gone on to star in movies such as Some Voices, Road to Perdition, and The Invasion.
Craig is currently married to British actress Rachel Weisz and has actress and copywriter Ella Craig as his daughter.
