David Goffin was born on 7 Decmber 1990 in Liege, Belgium.
He is a Belgian professional tennis player who is the first Belgian male to reach the ATP top 10 and is currently also the highest ranking Belgian male tennis player. His highest career ranking is world No.7.
Goffin has reached nine ATP finals without winning but has won six other ATP titles.
As a junior, he reached world No.10 on the rankings. He turned professional in 2009 and is coached by Germain Gigounon.
