Dennis Keith Rodman was born on 13 1961 in Trenton, New Jersey.
He is an American former professional basketball player.
Rodman who was once considered less talented than his two younger full sisters worked as a janitor after high school at the t Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. He experienced a sudden growth spurt and decided to play basketball again after failing to make the cut in high school.
Rodman played collegiate basketball for Southeastern Oklahoma State University where he was a three-time NAIA All-American. When Rodman was eligible for the draft, he was drafted by the Detroit Pistons as the third pick in the second round.
He would go on to play for the San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, and Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is regarded as the best rebounding forward in NBA history.
He is a five-time NBA champion.
Rodman has appointed himself a US Peace Ambassador to North Korea.
