Despite constant cries from the general public that living conditions of many Ghanaians are very bad, the New Patriotic party (NPP) are of the view that the living conditions are not bad as the former President John Mahama is making it seem.
The Communications Director of the NPP Yaw Buaben Asamoa has said that the party cannot sit and watch Mr. Mahama to poison the minds of Ghanaians.
He says if Mahama keeps telling Ghanaian that the country is hard, then with time some Ghanaians will turn to believe its true.
“We are not frightened of John Mahama, we know he cannot manage the economy, so we can’t let him poison your minds because if you’re sitting your somewhere and they keep telling you ‘oh it is bad, Ghana is hard, there is corruption, Ghana is hard’. Then sometimes, you think it’s true. So we have to speak back,” he stated at a press conference on Friday.
He stressed that he and his party folks know that the former President cannot give good healthyet he will collapse NHIA to make matters worse.
“We’re not frightened by John Mahama. We know he cannot give you a good education, we know he cannot give you good health, he will collapse NHIA. We know he cannot manage the economy. Interest rates, inflation will go up, growth will drop and we’ll go back to the IMF”.
He added that the NDC party keeps making criticisms about Nana Addo’s agenda 111 initiative because they know it will affect them in 2024 election.
