Drake Confirms Swedish Police Encounter After Team Denies Arrest

Canadian rapper, singer, and actor, Aubrey Drake Graham has confirmed his encounter with Swedish law enforcers after his team denied his arrest.

The rapper shared a number of images on Sunday that appeared to be a record of his recent exploits, one of which was a picture of a printout from Swedish authorities that addressed widespread rumors that he had run into difficulties in recent days.

It appears that he has a few more rights than the typical American or even Swedish citizen. He can get communications sent and received on his behalf by contacting the consulate of his nation, according to the document. However, it doesn’t seem as though this situation became all that bad.

Drake posted this update because it appears that he has now been released in relation to the claim that he was detained on marijuana-related charges this week while partying at a Swedish club. It’s unclear if he will have to return to court to address this.
