Duggie Brown was born on 7 August 1940 in Rotherham, West Riding of Yorkshire, England.
He was an English actor and comedian.
Brown who was a cabaret artist also performed in several stage productions, including playing “The Fool” in Shakespeare’s “King Lear”. He also performed in numerous entertainment shows, including The Good Old Days, a show he featured in for close to two decades.
Brown featured in Granada Television’s popular series The Comedians, he was featured in the 2012 40th anniversary celebrations DVD of the show along with Stan Boardman, Roy Walker, and Mick Miller.
Some of the films and television shows Brown has featured in are; Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, For the Love of Ada, Play For Today, and The Price of Coal.

Lynne Perrie was Duggie Brown’s only sibling and older sister.
She was born on 7 April 1931.
Perrie was an English actress best known as Mrs. Casper in the 1969 film Kes.
She died on 24 March 2006.
