Martin Kemp and Michelle Collins will not be returning to Albert Square but they are reuniting on a new set for the first time in years.
The actors who portrayed Cindy Beale and Steve Owen in the BBC serial opera have been hard at work on the gangster comedy Miss the Kiss. Pictures of the two appearing strained while filming scenes in and around a scrapyard in Kent have surfaced.
Michelle, 60, can be seen in one picture trailing behind the scowling Celebrity Gogglebox star while holding a flask. Both of them look sharp in their costumes, with Martin sporting a blue shirt and dark grey fitted pants and Michelle donning a pink frock.
Even though a synopsis of the new movie is out reading, “When actor Jack is cast in a new gangster film, he asks his life-long friend Danny to shadow the family in hilarious and deadly circumstances,” the plot details is still being kept secret.
