Ebrahim Patel Cause of Death, Obituary, Burial, Funeral, Memorial Service: Ebrahim Patel was a South African cabinet minister, who holds the position of Minister of Trade, Industry, and Competition.

He previously served as Minister of Economic Development from 2009 to 2019. Patel was born in Cape Town on August 15, 1943, into a working-class family, with his mother, a garment worker, being the sole bread winner.
