Eight Black Stars Players Train With Chris Hughton At Accra Sports Stadium

Ahead of Ghana’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nation qualifying match against Angola on Thursday, some members of the Black Stars team have begun training sessions.

According to Joy Sports, eight of the players who have been called for national team duties were spotted training at the Accra Sports Stadium; among the eight is the captain of the side Andre Ayew.

The players who were spotted are Joojo Wollacott, Inaki Williams, Daniel Amartey, Joseph Aidoo, Antoine Semenyo, Joseph Paintsil, and newcomer Ransford-Yeboah.

The rest of the squad is expected to arrive on Monday evening in order to board the team’s flight to Kumasi in time for Tuesday’s practice at the Baba Yara stadium.

Goalkeeper Joojo Wollacott, who sustained an injury before the World Cup last year had his session with goalkeeper’s trainer Richard Kingston while the rest of the team was taken through some muscle stretching exercises and did some kickabout with the ball.
