Controversial Nigerian broadcaster and social media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, known widely as Daddy Freeze, has disclosed that the Lagos State Eti-Osa Federal Constituency election was rigged against the singer, Olubankole Wellington, known in show business circles as Banky W to favor Attah Thaddeus.
It is can be recalled that Attah Thadeus who represented the Labour Party during the election won the poll with 24,075 votes, beating his competitors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Banky W with 18,666 votes, and the All Progressives Congress ( APC), Babajide Obanikoro, who garnered 16, 901 votes.
While commenting during a live Instagram session, Daddy Freeze stated Attah is not known by anyone, nor was his face on fliers like other candidates.
He further stated that the election was rigged in favor of the Labour Party’s candidate, therefore, Peter Obi‘s supporters too should also accept defeat at the presidential level.
Nigeria’s general election has brought a wedge between many of the country’s entertainers.
