Ghana’s Emmanuel Gyasi ended his first serie A campaign as Spezia’s player with the most appearances.
The 27-year-old missed only a game in the serie A to help the Eagles maintain their topflight status, finishing the season in 15th position.
The Palermo-born attacker scored four times to be the club’s fifth top scorer in the just-ended season and provided six assists, the second-most by a Spezia player.
Last night Gyasi played ninety minutes in Spezia’s 2-2 draw against giants AS Roma to accumulate 2,942 minutes.
The Black Stars attacker is the most consistent Spezia player since last season when he helped the club to promotion from the serie B.
He is closely followed by Spezia goalkeeper Ivan Provedel who clocked 2610 minutes, Matteo Ricci (2395), and Giulio Maggiore (2359).
The Ghanaian forward has been named in coach C.K Akonnor’s squad for the double international friendlies against Morocco and Ivory Coast next month.
