18-year-old Ghanaian striker Enock Agyei was the subject of a reported transfer to Standard Liege of the Belgian league a few days ago, his contract will expire in the summer.
Bruzz’s podcast Radio Radzinski reports that the youngster had asked Anderlecht for an annual salary of €500,000.00.
One of the panelists on the podcast revealed that he has been told Agyei is asking for €500,000 a year, which he believes is too much to ask for a player of his caliber.
He went on to say that Enock has potential but is not contributing anything to his club in terms of playing. He can’t be compared to Stassin or Leoni he emphasizes.
The panelist said the young has not shown that he is ready and for him to ask for €500,000.00 as salary whiles he sits on the bench is untenable. He said only key players on the team should be making such demands.
It is been speculated that Vincent Kompany’s Burnley has expressed interest in signing Enock Agyei over the summer.
There is also interest from clubs in England, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy, and France.
