Erik ten Hag Managerial Career

In 2012, Ten Hag was named as the manager for Go Ahead Eagles in the Eerste Divisie by Marc Overmars, who was a shareholder of the club. In his one season at Go Ahead Eagles, he was the manager of the team that earned the club the first promotion in the span of 17 years.

He coached Bayern Munich II from June 6, 2013, to 2015, after which he was replaced by coach Heiko Vogel. His final game in his role as Bayern Munich II head coach was a 1-0 loss against Nurnberg II on May 22, 2015.

Ten Hag was appointed the Director of Sporting and Head coaching position at FC Utrecht in summer 2015, and he helped the club reach fifth position in his debut season.

Ten Hag was confirmed as the new Manchester United manager on April 21, 2022, replacing interim boss Ralf Rangick, starting July 1 until June 2025 with the option of extending for a further year.
