Born on February 24, 1977, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States, Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr. is an American boxing promoter and former boxer who currently owns a team in the NASCAR Cup Series named The Money Team Racing.
As a professional boxer, completing between 1996 and 2017 before retiring with an unbeaten record, and winning 15 major world championships, ranging from super featherweight to middleweight light.
It includes Ring magazine title in five weight classes, as well as the lineal championships that are held with four classes of weight (twice at welterweight).
