Former Ghana Coach Avram Grant Confident Black Stars Will Reach Play-offs

Former Black Stars coach Avram Grant believes that Ghana could make it to the play-offs for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers despite the difficult character in Group G.

As per the former Chelsea as well as West Ham manager, the Black Stars are firm favourites to make it out of the group.

I think yes first if we speak about the draw I think it’s not so weird,” Grant told Asempa FM.

The draw is good. South Africa is respected, but Ethiopia is not that great on the continent. Ghana is better, but you need to prove it on the pitch.

Like always, I think there is a good chance [that Ghana will qualify]. I don’t know what will happen, but in this group, Ghana is better than the other teams,” the ex-Black Stars coach said months ago when the draw was made.

Even though the Israeli manager believed it was an easy group, however, the Black Stars have ninety minute to make their decision on Sunday.
