Williams was driving with team sponsorship manager Peter Windsor in a hired Ford Sierra 1600 family saloon car from the Paul Ricard Circuit to Nice Côte d’Azur Airport when he had an incident.

He used a wheelchair since the car accident in the South of France, on 8 March 1986, which rendered him tetraplegic.

When Did Frank Williams Die?

Williams was admitted to a hospital in Surrey on November 26, 2021, and died two days later, on the morning of November 28, at the age of 79.
