Actor-turned-politician John Dumelo has dismissed claims by Fred Nuamah that he had decided not to contest for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency seat.
John Dumelo disclosed that Fred Nuamah had expressly promised to support in his bid to take the seat he narrowly lost in 2020.
Making an appearance on the United Showbiz show on UTV, the actor revealed that he is no longer friends with Nuamah and that they have not been friends for about a fortnight,
He stressed that at no point did he ever tell Fred he was not contesting in Ayawaso West Wuogon.
Dumelo said the claims made by Yaw Sakyi are untrue because he has never had a conversation about Fred Nuamah with Yaw Sakyi.
He is adamant that he never gave Nuamah his blessings when the latter knows his intention of contesting in Ayawaso West Wuogon.
Dumelo described best man’s release of his campaign flyer just hours after attending his private birthday party as a betrayal and a stab in the back for someone he has known for over two decades.
John Dumelo who called Fred Nuamah a liar insists that he will contest and is certain his now political opponent will lose the party’s primaries.
He concluded by asking if Nuamah can face the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
