The Chief Executive Officer of Black Avenue Muzik, Desmond Blackmore, known widely in entertainment circles as D-Black, has spoken about why Freda Rhymz who was on his record label left.
The rapper cum businessman touched his former artist in an interview with Jay Forley on 3Music TV. He revealed that the female songwriter and rapper left his label because she was impatient.
D-Black disclosed that after a music video was recorded for the artist, the feedback his team got from fans and the general public led them to develop a strategy for all artists on the Black Avenue Muzik label.
As a result, more focus was given to Dahlin Gage, Freda, and Sefa on the label. He said after that, he made the decision that since Sefa has received the most attention, it was in the best interest of the label to commence with her project, then Gage and Freda will follow.
The Black Avenue Muzik boss revealed that Freda Rhymz told him she did not have it in her to wait for more than a year or two for her turn, so the two parties decided to part ways.
