Funny Face Granted GH20,000 Bail With 2 Sureties

A well-known Ghanaian comedian Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng known in showbiz as Funny Face has been granted bail of GHC20,000 and two guarantees.

Funny Face was picked up at the studios of Kofi TV in the last few weeks following threats to kill his baby mama, Vanessa Nicole, and even commit suicide in a string of a video posted on his Instagram page. The man was then detained and refused a bail till an order has been made that he be transported to a psychiatric facility.

The Kaneshi District Court has ordered that Funny Face report to the police station two times a week following his release. The court also stated that his case to have been adjourned until the 24th of November.

Nana Yaw Benson has also been released from the psychiatric institution following two medical tests. Even though the court adjourned his case until the 10th of November, Funny Face was sent to the Accra High Court today for the filing of his medical records. Funny Face has been urged to avoid social media for the duration of a month.

Funny Face got engaged to his baby mama Vanessa in 2020. The couple had twins. But, they began experiencing issues after Vanessa left with her twins following their ended their relationship. Then, he took to his Instagram page on October 17th to threaten the lives of Vanessa and his first wife, who he divorced.
